What is Jesus surname?

— Akwasi (Ghana)

First of all, the Western Surnaming system prevalent today, wasn't the same in Jewish culture in the days Jesus lived on earth. That culture identified people more by their first name and then their occupation, patriarchal genealogy or common circumstance or character. So you have names like, Simon the Zealot (Matthew 10:4), James son of Zebedee (Matthew 4:21), etc. By this, Jesus was mostly likely known as Jesus The Carpenter (Mark 6:3), Jesus The Carpenter's Son (Matthew 10:55) or Jesus Son of Joseph (John 1:45). For those who believed in His Messianic mission, called Him Jesus son of David (Mark 10:47) or Jesus The Christ/Jesus Christ (Mathew 16:16, John 1:17)
